condition, NOTE YOU !!MUST!! have a 9010 with the clock option installed to

Model 90 testers for 6809 CPU - brand new in package - they do not come with
docs or power supplies - but I have sold 7 with no complaints, and one with

are freestanding testers for the 6809 that do not require a 9010, and do not
require removal of the IC from the circuit

domestic and foriegn airlines, the Australian Airforce, etc

You would be surprised at how many planes use controllers designed in the
late 70s and early 1980s; the elevator control industry is also pretty much
running on 1980s technology. I have a major railroad as a customer;
apparently the telemetry that is used to monitor axle bearing temperatures
is based on "obsolete" CPUs as well.

These people never heard of a laptop with logic analyzer pod? Obsolete
technology does not require obsolete test equipment. Now if you wanted
to make a killing- just think of someway it could be used for audio
amplifier performance measurement, they would go for $1000/ea on a bad day.

Good thought but it is a totally digital device; any attempt to do A/D
conversion would introduce its own set of distortions and skew the
measurements - but youre right, if I had a good source of high end test
equipment I would be making some serious bucks on that - look at what Tucker
gets for stuff they no doubt buy for pennies on the dollar.

Not just Tucker, although they seem to be the priciest of the lot.
One good, reasonable source I've found is Bid Service.

The 90 series of testors draw power from the UUT (Unit Under Test) and
hence do not need a power supply!
