I got this as a working unit from a repair depot but have not tested it,
selling as is, no probes pods or other accessories included. Price is for
shipping in the contiguous 48 states; AK HI PR higher. Email for overseas
shipping quote.

Hi Fred
One of my resolutions for the new year is no more replying to flames - while
that probably means that we wont enjoy the antics of JOHN FIELDS
PROFESSIONAL CIRCUIT DESIGNER as much, it will I hope make me a more
tolerant person and perhaps, just perhaps, help me grow up a tad :)
Happy New Year

Art,

Those of us interested in starting flame throwing would be less
inclined to do so if you included some information WHY the Fluke
9100/9010A would be useful to pinball people, and all the other groups
you spammed (9?).

Explain what this great tool does, how useful it is in analyzing
computer problems at the component level and how it can identify
shorts, memory, and/or I/O issues.

Mention there is a community of 9100/9010A owners that help each other
out when problems occur...

Otherwise you WILL get flamed - and rightly so - for cross posting
commercial advertisements that have no obvious bearing on the groups
they are sent to. (eight groups this time?).

Please read up on Usenet News Group cross posting of advertisements, it
is clearly defined as spamming, my friend! (ducking)

That is unless you would like to see all the other electronics
companies posting their stuff here - lots of folks on the 'Net sell
Fluke test gear "fluke 9100 microprocessor" (Google = 1190 listings) -
our favourite newsgroups would rapidly become unreadable if we all
posted ads, agreed?

That is why we have web sites - to ADVERTISE ON! (and post tech support
as well of course), in the News Groups we businesses are all guests -
and must behave as such.

So in closing, please make it relevant and post FS: only when something
unique and useful to the group in question comes along. Help keep this
small area of the world (Usenet News Groups) as non-commercial, and
mostly information sharing as it was designed to be!

We have all gained knowledge from these groups, and that is why we need
to put give back more than we take.

Something you need to learn, then, on your little trip toward
maturity is to respect others' wishes regarding what _they_ consider
to be offensive.
