Hmm, I thought the original pod <-> base cable had a plug at each end.
The "D" plug for the base, and a black two row female plug for the
pod...Do yours have that? Also the cable should have a sheild with a
ground tie point for the pod.

Put a picture up on your web site and post a link - that cable can be handy!
